Hear from ATF Supervisory Special Agent, Cody Sorrells!

SSA Sorrells has been with ATF for 24 years in the Dallas, TX and Lubbock, TX offices. SSA Sorrells currently supervises the Dallas Crime Gun Enforcement Team, which focuses on identifying and apprehending serial shooters and interrupting the shooting cycle. The Dallas Crime Gun Enforcement Team is made up of ATF Special Agents, Dallas Police Department Detectives from the Homicide, Robbery, and Gang Units. SSA Sorrells has received two Distinguished Service medals from ATF, as well as twelve Special Act/Service Awards and the Todd McKeehan Memorial Award. SSA Sorrells has instructed a number of courses for federal, state, and local law enforcement officers on topics ranging from undercover operations to crime gun intelligence, and serial shooter investigations.

SA Sorrells is a Summa cum laude graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
