Speaker: Dr. Isaac Horn

Dr. Isaac Horn originally began working for the Texas Department of Public Safety in 2010 as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper. In 2019, he left the Department as a Texas Highway Patrol Sergeant to return to graduate school full time. In 2021, he returned to the Texas Department of Public Safety to work in Homeland Security Division. Isaac has experience as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Texas Army National Guard, Trooper, and Sergeant, a Criminal Intelligence Analyst, an Intelligence Supervisor and an Intelligence Manager.

Isaac has earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Arts in Applied Philosophy and Ethics from Texas State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice from Texas State University.

Isaac currently serves as an Intelligence Manager in the Office of Oversight and Accountability in the Homeland Security Division in the Texas Department of Public Safety, where he focuses on policy, audits, the suspicious activity reporting network, and the targeted violence and terrorism prevention program.
